Poppy and Bloom Childcare and Household Services is here to help lighten your load. Our services differ from commercial companies as we focus on quality over quantity when it comes to our clients and the work we produce. We are dedicated to detail, care, and efficiency. Our mission is to create clean, organized, and peaceful living environments for our clients and their families while building long-term relationships with them by understanding and providing for their needs with the utmost integrity and professionalism in the industry.

About Us

Desi D'Ancona, Founder

Desi is a Marin County native and the founder of Poppy and Bloom. She graduated with honors from Oregon State University where she studied and earned her BA in Sociology and Psychology. She has a passion for working with children and around the household, and she understands the importance of creating a stress-free and conducive living environment. As a former Operations and Recruiting Assistant for the Oregon State Football team, Desi has a strong background in administrative work and has a proven ability to complete tasks in a timely manner. Additionally, Desi's many years of childcare experience have provided her with the necessary skills and qualifications required for working with youth. As a committed, efficient, and detail-oriented worker, she is dedicated to making your experience as positive as possible and your home feel like a sanctuary for you and your family.

What We Do

Services Offered

Below are the services offered by Poppy and Bloom. As a prospective client, please select and click on the button for the service you would like and fill out the attached form. Service 1:

Childcare

Our childcare services include occasional babysitting or consistent nannying. We work to collaborate with families to establish a healthy, enriched, warm, and safe environment for youth to ensure they have the ability to learn and grow with the support they need.

Service 2:

Organization

Our organization services are offered for any area in your home, including: the bedroom, nursery, closet, office, pantry, bathroom, kitchen, etc. Elements of organization include optimizing the functionality of your space, finding products that best suit your needs and preferences, and removing/donating items you no longer need or desire.

Service 3:

Family Assistant Services

Our family assistant/household management services allow for any individual or family to feel as though they have an extra set of hands to facilitate daily tasks. This may include day-to-day administrative efforts such as creating schedules, making appointments, managing correspondences, etc. or responsibilities around the household such as walking the dog, light cleaning, or watering the plants.

Service 4:

In-Home Event/Party Planning & Coordinating

Our in-home event/party planning services are available to families looking to create a memorable experience to share with their loved ones, co-workers, and/or friends. Whether you have a specific vision in mind for your party, or you would like to leave the details up to us, we are here to make this event one you will cherish. From floral arrangements to charcuterie board creations, we work to make each element of the event "Pinterest-worthy"! We greatly value the trust instilled in us to make this special time something to remember.
